Jailane Kendale is an American film actress of Chamorro and African-American descent. She was born in Akron, Ohio, and spent much of her early childhood in Bavaria, Germany, before settling in the Southeastern United States.

Kendale was raised in a family immersed in the entertainment and film industries, with relatives involved in directing, acting, screenwriting, and performing. Growing up with these influences, Kendale developed an early awareness of craft and creativity, often stating that acting has always been the only career she’s ever wanted. She began training in performance at the age of 9, cultivating emotional presence, stagecraft, and a nuanced understanding of character.

Kendale made her feature film lead debut in 2022 as Trish Scarborough in The Black Frog from Saturn, followed by a supporting role as Ms. Eve in the short film Malefic. Represented by the award-winning STISA Talent Agency since 2024, Kendale has earned principal commercial roles, including Shoe Show’s An American Story.

Beyond her on-screen work, Kendale has also incorporated runway and print modeling into her artistic practice, debuting at New York Fashion Week in 2024 and contributing to editorial and commercial campaigns that enhance her understanding of movement, presence, and expression.

Kendale is no stranger to the film industry and has every intention of continuing this journey, with a passion for performance that spans generations. She remains committed to choosing roles and projects that challenge her craft, tell meaningful stories, and leave a lasting impression on audiences.
