Jailane Kendale is an American-German actress of Chamorro and African American descent . Although Jailane was born in the United States, she spent much of her early childhood in Bavaria, Germany where her life fostered adaptability, discipline, and a global perspective from an early age. Growing up between cultures influenced her natural curiosity for people and storytelling, contributing to her grounded presence and nuanced approach to character work.
Jailane Kendale began performing at the young age of 6, through school theatre and choir, developing an early foundation in character work and emotional presence. She made her feature film lead debut in 2022 as Trish Scarborough in the independent film The Black Frog from Saturn, followed by a supporting role in the short film Malefic. In 2023, she appeared in Season 3 of the Netflix original series Outer Banks. After signing with STISA Talent Agency in 2024, she expanded her professional work across film and select commercial projects, earning her first principal commercial role in Shoe Show's campaign An American Story. Her work reflects a growing focus on narrative-driven cinema and character-centered storytelling.
Alongside her acting career, Jailane Kendale has also worked in runway and print modeling, making her runway debut at New York Fashion Week in 2024 and being a part of several commercial campaigns and website Ads.
